"Philippines, Vote for ‘Lover’ as the International Video Of The Year at the #MYXAwards2020" -Taylor Swift

In a rare chance, Taylor Swift campaigned for her music as it gets nominated in a Philippine award-giving body.

On Wednesday (Manila time), Tay-Tay, through her Facebook page with over 71 million followers, urged her fans to vote for "Lover" which is a nominee in the International Video of the Year at the MYX Awards 2020.

"Lover" competes with "Boy With Luv" by BTS feat. Halsey, "7 Rings" by Ariana Grande, "Senorita" by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello, and "Sucker" by the Jonas Brothers.

Its official music video, which has more than 125 million views already, was released in August last year.
