Regine Velasquez reveals having anxiety attack

Regine Velasquez-Alcasid revealed she has been suffering from anxiety attack lately.

During her guest appearance on the digital talk show ‘Rise and Shine Live’ Friday, the Asia’s Songbird gave some stars of Rise Artists Studio Management a few tips on singing.

Mentioning about the importance of practicing everyday, she also shared how it helps her to overcome such condition.

“Ako would you believe I sing all the time kahit wala naman talaga akong online concert, walang anything? My husband (Ogie) would encourage me to sing kasi nawawala din ‘yung anxiety ko,” said Regine as she revealed: “Nag-a-anxiety attack kasi ako lately I guess [because] I’m worried about, you know.. everything. The uncertainty, it’s driving me crazy.”

“But when I’m singing, I really don’t think of anything else,” she noted. “Ang music talaga has this way of healing our souls, healing our minds, healing our heart. It relaxes you talaga so it’s a therapy.”

“It’s a weird feeling doing a concert with no audience,” she said. “Kasi alam mo pagka kumakanta ka on stage, ‘yung kalahati ng adrenaline mo nanggagaling ‘yan sa audience e. You get your…kasama dun yung excitement mo, yung kaba mo, lahat yon.. and then you also get from you audience, yung good vibes ng audience mo tapos binabalik mo sa kanila in return, ganon ‘yon palitan.”
