Miguel Odron immortalizes first heartbreak in “Weed”

Miguel Odron’s latest single echoes experiences of being brokenhearted.

At some point of our lives, we have had our share of heart breaks.

In the case of ‘Idol Philippines’ alum Miguel Odron, he wants his listeners to reflect from his own heartbreaking story, with the release of his latest single “Weed.”

Out now in major digital music platforms, “Weed” is inspired by his first ever heartbreak in high-school looking back at the pain of rejection and feeling of insecurity that most people have gone through.

“It is about a guy I had a crush on in high-school and I thought was crazy about me too. Then I went to a school dance and saw him dancing with somebody else,” he shares.

“I get to look back at the insane ideas I had about love as a kid and how that’s carried over into my adult relationships,” Odron notes.

“Weed,” which Odron wrote about a decade ago, is a follow-up to his debut single released in February this year, “Chevy Cruze,” which currently has over half-a-million streams on Spotify.
